About
Hao Le is an award-winning composer and multi-media artist in Brooklyn who loves creating heartfelt experiences and telling underrepresented stories. He first fell in love with composing at 13, when he would take songs and remix them on the piano for fun. Eventually, this evolved into a personal expression that served as diary to navigate the areas in life Hao felt most lost in. In 2023, he started formally composing with the goal of creating experiences that help people feel OK, reassured, and inspired.
His work spans across film, fashion, dance, theater, and technology and has been shown across the country. Notable works include The Magnificent Ms. Pham, Áo Tới Nhạc, Asian New York Fashion Week, 悠活 (You Huo) - Slow Living, Showtime!, Pit Stops, and more. Much of Hao’s scores blend influences from both Western and Vietnamese music. Although Hao loves working with acoustic instruments, he also works regularly with synths and builds custom instruments. Hao’s electronic work focuses on bridging organic and synthetic sounds in immersive ways.
Outside of composing, Hao is also the co-founder of the Vietnamese Creative Society (VCS), a non-profit dedicated to uplifting Vietnamese and Southeast Asian creatives, businesses, and community members. Hao also works at Adobe as a Principal Enterprise Architect and Team Lead, where he collaborates with Fortune 500 companies on designing software systems that power millions of customer experiences on a daily basis.
With a belief that play transcends pain, he aims to create spaces and art that bring a little more joy to people’s lives.
