Asian New York Fashion Week 2025

Composed the score for the stunning New York Fashion Week debut of LexyNiso, an NYC-based Vietnamese-American fashion brand. This score documents the history of LexyNiso’s trajectory as a fashion designer, from falling in love with fashion after trying her mom’s dresses as a kid (Act I), to being inspired to incorporate Vietnamese cải lương (Viet opera) fashion elements into her work in college (Act II), to re-igniting her passions as an adult after a long period of change (Act III).

“Once Upon a Thread” marks my third collaboration with Lexy and it’s been an honor to see her grow as a designer through each phase!
